Peach Tree Full Fertilization Plan
Time : 2024-07-16

Full process fertilization plan for peach trees

Autumn based fertilizer (from fruit harvest to one month before falling leaves): San'an (18-18-18) or pure sulfur based (17-17-17) 40-50 kg+soybean 70 bacterial fertilizer 200-300 kg+calcium magnesium phosphorus fertilizer 50 kg.

Broken roots merge into new roots in a relatively short period of time. Applying base fertilizer in autumn promotes early flowering, larger flowers, and higher fruit setting rate compared to applying base fertilizer in spring.

The amount of compound fertilizer used accounts for about 60% of the annual fertilization amount. (Outdoor)

Before sprouting: Miao Liwang 32-0-0 kg of sulfur based fertilizer 20-25 kg.

Mainly using nitrogen fertilizer, accounting for about 5-10% of the annual application rate. If base fertilizer has been applied in winter, sprout fertilizer may not be topdressing.

Fruit setting fertilizer: 16-5-24 kilograms of water-soluble fertilizer, applied with watering.

Mainly using nitrogen and potassium fertilizers, with a dosage of about 10% -15%, to promote rapid growth of fruits in the early stage.

Expansion period: 12-6-44 kg of water-soluble fertilizer, applied with watering.

Mainly using nitrogen and potassium fertilizers, which account for about 20% of the annual application amount, to coordinate the contradiction between shoots and fruits, promote rapid fruit growth, improve fruit quality, and promote flower bud differentiation.

Postharvest fertilizer: After the fruit is harvested, apply 20-25 kilograms of pure sulfur based 17-17-17 compound fertilizer.

The early maturing peaches after fruit picking still have a long growth period before falling leaves in autumn, which is a crucial period for nutrient accumulation and flower bud differentiation. The quality of management will directly affect the peach tree's overwintering and next year's results. Therefore, post harvest management of peach trees cannot be relaxed. Late maturing varieties that mature in September and October can be combined with autumn base fertilizer.

Topdressing outside the roots: potassium dihydrogen phosphate, small black bags 20-20-20, fully water-soluble 12-6-44. Concentration 0.5-0.8%.

The entire growth period is available. It is strongly recommended to apply during the flowering and color changing periods.

Topdressing the leaves of peach trees can achieve good yield increasing effects. During the flowering period, 0.2% to 0.5% borax can be sprayed, during the growth period, 0.1% to 0.4% zinc sulfate can be sprayed during the flowering period. Calcium can be supplemented during the fruiting period, and iron can be supplemented during peach yellowing.
